UNIX is a registered trademark of The Open Group. Does anybody know how I can at least access these folders, cause I sure can't figure out how.... Typically, this is set to at least 2 GB in XP, but may be more in Vista. Windows of course uses its own memory and it allocates memory for caching - which can be released if something actually needs it.
