Tried everything here and didn't work. It boots fine when I turn it off at the power button and then back on again, but may have the issue again days or a couple of weeks later. My problem started when I inserted the Windows Vista disc in to upgrade. Computer Won't Boot Up Black Screen I transfer it successfully without a glitch and went have dinner. This worked for me! I can see where folk would think it's an update but after thousands of machines I have yet to see this issue.
